Hey all!

The basis of this deck is a discard shell in order to do very powerful things. Cathartic Reunion , Tormenting Voice , and Noose Constrictor are the main ways we do this.

There are a couple of strategies for this deck. One is to discard from one of the 3 above cards so that you can play Hollow One for one or zero mana. This can be done on turn two with Noose Constrictor or turn 3 with Cathartic Reunion . Once Hollow One is on the battlefield it can be used to apply a little pressure and then be sacrificed to Eldritch Evolution to grab a 7 cmc creature. This can be done as early as turn 3 if everything works out. Grabbing Plated Crusher is the best way to do this as it can't be removed later and also has trample.

However, this deck has another mode of attack. You can discard Honored Hydra with one of the discard spells and then reanimate it for 4 mana. This proves to be a very powerful move especially if you need time to assemble the Eldritch Evolution combo.

There are a few other nice discard oriented cards such as Fiery Temper and Insolent Neonate that have good synergy with the deck. Glorybringer is a very powerful card that can be played straight up, or can be fetched with Eldritch Evolution to take out a pesky creature.

Samut, the Tested can be used to give double strike to creature you just fetched with Eldritch Evolution . Or you can kill pesky chump blockers.

Remember that an embalmed Honored Hydra has a cmc of 0 so it isn't great to sac to eldritch evolution.
