RIX UW Approach

Standard*

ebr1th1l

Sideboard

I've taken this exact 75 to great success at FNM and 2 PPTQ's (I won both/split). Actual GP, not so much. I prey on aggro.
Here's how to play approach:
Does your opponent have a threat? Y/N
If Y: Boardwipe/Cast out non-creature/indestructible threats
If N: Draw cards

Do you have 7 mana and an approach in hand? Y/N
If Y: Are you dead on board even if it resolves? Y/N
If Y to : Boardwipe
If N: Cast it

That's all there is to it. Censor goes out on the draw every time.

My one FAQ:
Why are you playing Supreme Will over the control all-star Disallow?
I like taking the approach that Reverse Mermaid took when building grixis cEDH storm - no dead cards at any time. Every card besides the lands does something when you draw it. It either deals with threats (boardwipes) or finds more threats. But wait Matthew, you just said deals with threats! Doesn't Disallow deal with threats? It does, but they're not on the field yet. The only thing on the stack I care about is approach, and I intend to play mine first. If I can't, then Supreme Will does just as fine. If Supreme Will doesn't work as a counterspell anymore, then I can accept losing. I try to win turns 8-11 and no farther.

If you have any questions on how I play certain matchups, just comment below. I check back & edit this list pretty often (unlike every other deck on my account).
