The Card Pool

Having Polyraptor as the promo, and then Etali, Primal Storm, Gishath, Sun's Avatar, Atzocan Seer, and Dinosaur Stampede come up in packs made the choice pretty clear.

There were also decent mid game bodies on theme. And while the early game was a little funky, it was totally playable with Fanatical Firebrand and Frilled Deathspitter to help take some early life points for stampede later.

I did splash off theme with Bishop of Binding for some tempo, along with Jungleborn Pioneer to jam up the board a bit. They did not disappoint.

Noncreatures were mainly the good removal spells in all three colors. Pious Interdiction, Bombard, and Pounce. Cant go wrong with that package in naya.

Otherwise noncreatures were the mana rock, and the wings equipment to give a big dinosaur flying, and of course, Dinosaur Stampede.

Overall the pool had good support for a mid range / beat down strategy with bodies that blocked well when able.

Gameplay

Most games were won easily swinging in with 10-15 points of damage.

Most games lost were grindy with inevitability handed to the opponent when out of gas or flooding and no way to draw more cards.

0-2 vs BW Vampires tiwlight prophet is very good.

1-2 vs Esper Vampires Vona, Butcher of Magan is very good.
