This is a reanimator list I've been brewing for Rivals of Ixalan standard. We're all in on surviving long enough to cheat in some fatties.
On turn 1, we're playing Harsh Scrutiny or Duress to disrupt our opponent.
On turn 2, we're playing a tapland and more hand disruption.
On turn 3, we want to get one of our creatures, Tomb Robber or Champion of Wits, into play. These cards are great for being able to pitch reanimator targets we've already draw. If we haven't drawn a target, we want to cast Benefaction of Rhonas. This lets us dig for Journey to Eternity and one of the aforementioned creatures.
On turn 4, we want Journey to Eternity on one of the creatures, and to get that creature killed before we untap next turn.
When we untap on turn 5, we want a flipped Atzal, Cave of Eternity in play, or a Liliana, Death's Majesty in our hand to cast, and at least one reanimator target in the bin.
I've tried this list both as U/B and B/G. B/G wants more ways to get cards out of your hand and U/B has to play Boneyard Parley instead of Journey to Eternity. I think the mana in this format is good enough to play Sultai, and it allows the deck to more effectively do what it needs to do.
