I’m a combo player by default and after Hogaak, Arisen Necropolis and Faithless Looting got axed. I’ve been looking for a new for relevancy in the Modern format. Then I came across this deck my friend had.

The first home-brew I made when I came back into Magic in 2015 was an creature-less Counter-Burn deck so Gifts Storm was right up my alley. So I looked up some decklists and found a shell I liked and built around it. The biggest challenge for me was to find the right set-up for me and my meta. Now the remaining challenge is building the right sideboard so suggestions are welcome.

My worst match-up at the moment is Humans and Jund. So let me know in the comments if you can think of something.
