Riot Control [Rakdos Midrange]

Very nice looking! Have you thought of putting in Murder ? it's currently a great black removal. Also, Lashwrithe and Tormented Soul are my favorite black combo of all time!

I originally had Tormented Soul, but other than being unblockable, he's just a lil' 1/1 guy. So bad late game in this deck, great in aggro though.

I needed to have some guy who got through blockers, and he was great at that, but so easily removed...I found obliterator as a replacement =D He gets in there all day long. And if they block with a goat token...TRAMPLE RAWR. So good.

I thought of Murder, but I have been fairing fairly well with my current removal suite...It might go in SB instead of the doomblade, tbh.

One of my favorite cards in here is the Phyrexian Rager ....he's a body, which I needed terribly, and he draws a card, which black has ALWAYS wanted.

If graveyard recursion were bigger in my meta, I definitely would, and have considered it even though it's not. ETB's are huge here, hence 4x Torpor Orb =D

Lol, I left the name from its previous iteration, where the only blue was Phyrexian Metamorph .

Midrange needs Rakdos, Lord of Riots. He makes things silly.

I don't have enough ways to make him castable...I rely on running one threat out at a time, not swarming the board...I actually believe he belongs in a fast aggro deck, that can be sure to deal damage on T4 to cast him on curve.

Sign in Blood , card:Rakdos's Return, Undying trigger on/swinging with card:Geralf's Messenger, and Vampire Nighthawk . IMO there are plenty of ways to trigger him.

Ack, I would never waste a SIB to cast him.

Maybe you're right...but even in the end, he doesn't do much for me..I don't have many high costing critters. I might test him if I open him, but I don't think I'll actively search for him.

I love a T3 card:Geralf's Messenger into a T4 swing, then Disciple of Bolas . It says take 5 damage, I'm gonna gain 3 and draw 3. SO good.
