My first attempt at a pauper commander deck. It was originally going to be Stormchaser Mage, but I felt white brought more to the table than red in this format (like lifelink and exalted).

This deck still has the same win condition as Stormchaser; kill your opponent with commander damage. But unlike Stormchaser, which comes out early and starts hitting on turn two, Breezedancer is much slower. There is more buildup and your gameplan has more control elements in it. Of course, the resultant punches are also bigger. There's a lot of hexproof and defensive cards. Most of the counterspells are designed to protect your own stuff rather than heavily disrupt your opponents, but that may change as I test the deck.

Conviction and Shimmering Wings can be used to pump your commander as many times as you have mana to spare. It's not quite as good as shadebreathing, but we can't have it all.

If your commander becomes too expensive, benchwarmers include Bastion Inventor and Ingenious Skaab. May adjust it into Glassdust Hulk in future.

Comments and criticism welcome, as always!
