Rhys loves taking his time cutting those coupons.

So, what do you want to do with your extra token cards you have laying around? This is what I did.

Rhys is great. For one mana, he gets to make at least a couple tokens before anyone else starts seeing a threat. Doubling Season + Parallel Lives are great, since any tokens you make get doubled, quadrupled or even octupled at best.

Awakening Zone ramps after turn three. Unless it's taken care of, it will probably be feeding Rhys's ability for the rest of the game. And who wouldn't want two free mana every turn with Doubling Season or Parallel Lives.

My playgroup loves boardwipes. So I need some protection from them. Cards like Soul of New Phyrexia and Eldrazi Monument are a must. I'm not running a lot of destroy effects, just a couple of boardwipes (Fracturing Gust, Elspeth Tirel). Although the Gods are pretty popular too, I haven't got the space for exile effects.

Thought about running some specific cards instead of some I listed, but I still want to test the deck as it is. And even though the deck would LOOOOOVE elves, they aren't the only things I want from this deck.
