Hey there, thanks for taking the time to check my decklist out. I've had this idea going through my head for a while now and decided to finally give it a go. The focus of this deck is to marry the +1/+1 counter strategy of Reyhan, Last of the Abzan with the token swarm of Tana, the Bloodsower. Luckily for me, Magic has a multitude of cards that work well with both concepts.

Key Cards

Doubling Season and Primal Vigor double the counters from Reyhan and the tokens from Tana.

Hooded Hydra and Hangarback Walker Enter with +1/+1 counters and leave behind tokens when they die, whereas Mycoloth devours tokens to make counters and more tokens.

Bloodspore Thrinax is a key piece of the deck as he eats tokens to ensure that any and all future tokens are a serious threat to the rest of the table.

Other cards of note are those that increase the +1/+1 counter production (such as Hardened Scales and Corpsejack Menace), those that spread counters on everything (Drana, Liberator of Malakir and Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest), and Parallel Lives which adds more redundancy for the token flooding. Ivy Lane Denizen is great for piling +1/+1 counters on Tana, the Bloodsower since she creates green Saproling tokens.

Testing Notes

As this deck is a new build (as of August 26th) there's still plenty of fine-tuning that needs to be done. So far I feel like I could use more board-wipe protection so I can keep the counters flowing. Ideas that I have are Heroic Intervention, Darksteel Plate, or maybe indestructible creatures like Predator Ooze. Another subject that I'll be focusing on and tweaking is the mana base and ramp until I hit that sweet spot. If you have any suggestions or ideas to help improve the deck feel free to share.
