3-1 FNM: So close. —Feb. 10, 2017
Since I moved to an Energy build, the deck has been performing better.
The Matches
Matches 1 and 4 were against brews that were poor performers (a Superfriends deck that was mana-screwed and a deck centered on Tezzeret's Touch), so I won't talk about them.

Round 2, 1-2 against mardu Vehicles. Game one I simply stomped away with the game, with my opponent never drawing a car. I also had the perfect curve with Attune with the Aether into Longtusk Cub into Winding Constrictor, leaving me with a 4/4 blocker. Game 2 I simply couldn't do anymore but trade. Game 3 went better, but she got the game through a Fumigate. I probably overextended. MVPs were Longtusk Cub and Greenbelt Rampager.
-
Round 3, 2-1 against GB Delirium (the old type). I got game one through large creatures, and forcing him to chump with a Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet on board. I removed my Bob The Menace, which was a bad choice since I saw game 2 he didn't have any Ballistas. He got game 2 through a Grim Flayer which I couldn't answer. Game 3, the Bobs were back against the Cubs and drew me into victory.
Lessons
The energy package is the real deal, at least Greenbelt Rampager and Longtusk Cub. I think Glint-Sleeve Siphoner could be cut in favor of Tirelles Tracker and bring in some Nissa, Voice of Zendikar. I will test more before making the changes
