Reversal / Spring Tide

Legacy* Combo Control Mono-Blue

RogueDeck

Sideboard

This deck was designed through two forums about Legacy competitive Solidarity (or Reset Tide), Spiral Tide and Spring Tide that I've being reading.

The Forums:

Link 1: High Tide [Deck] - MTG Salvation Forums (by GradStudentGuy)

Link 2:High Tide [Primer/Deck] (by Feline)

This one is a alternate version of the Spring Tide combo using Time Reversal as a replacement for Ideas Unbound because it makes the deck more consistent and resilient;

Snap + Cloud of Faeries to untap and go off early on game;

Dispel as the main counter since usually what you will try to counter will be what will try to stop your combo which usually is others instants (counters).

I'm testing Pore Over the Pages it's being really great. It reminds the Frantic Search in the Spring Tide combo deck.

One could use Pieces of the Puzzle and Vizier of Tumbling Sands (cycling ability) in the main deck depending on the version they're build or even the budget they're on.

old version:used to run with only 16 islands + some copies of Retraced Image , because you wouldn't need much lands on play to start the combo, though for this combo the more lands the better.

Updates Add

I believe this is more like a alternate build of the Spring Tide version of High Tide Combo than a alternate version of Spiral Tide, since this build was actually more based around Spring Tide than Spiral Tide.

I replaced Peer Through Depths from Spring Tide for Merchant Scroll and replaced Ideas Unbound with Time Reversal, because the deck can easily generate enough mana for it and I was hardly happy to see Ideas Unbound because I usually needed to a card at least a filter and a card that generate mana and when draw 3 cards I find me very often drawing lands and counters, making the combo more susceptible to fizzle. Not only that, but also because with Time Reversal I still have a change of going of right in the next turn in case it happen to fizzle, which I simply cannot do with Ideas Unbound once I basically have to discard my hand after casting some copies of it.
