I really have to say that Elves have grown on me ever since Marwyn, the Nurturer was printed.

After playing Raff Capashen, Ship's Mage , I came to realize how fun of a mechanic Flash really can be. Thus, an Elven Raff aka Yeva, Nature's Herald seemed like a perfect fit for me.

I haven't figured out anything wildly different than per se your normal Elf decks, but once I get some playtime with this I'm sure there is something lurking out there. The best part is that we can get a full turn/combat with our Elves before the table has a chance to cast their sweepers (most are Sorcery speed).

We are running three non-Elves since I am counting Adaptive Automaton as an Elf. Impervious Greatwurm , Pathbreaker Ibex , and Sylvan Safekeeper . These are all fairly self-explanatory late-game threats that synergize with our "Overrun" effects or protection for key pieces.

If I ever shell out for Eladamri, Lord of Leaves , he most likely would replace the Sylvan Safekeeper.
