Awakening Zone and From Beyond: Removed because they do not put experience counters the turn they enter the battlefield. This gives the whole table a full turn cycle to kill Ezuri or destroy the enchantment before you get the benefit from them. Replaced with creatures.
Mycoloth: Removed because the mana cost was too high
Reality Shift: Replaced with Eldritch Evolution.
Temple of Mystery, Simic Growth Chamber, and Faerie Conclave: Removed because they enter the battlefield tapped. This deck needs to combo out asap.
Forbid: Replaced with Spellskite
Bane of Progress: Replaced with Hardened Scales
Blighted Agent: Replaced with Sylvan Tutor
Tezzeret's Gambit: Replaced with Cloudstone Curio
Solemn Simulacrum: Removed because in a green/blue deck, there are better ways to ramp and draw cards.
Chasm Skulker, Hooded Hydra, and Hangarback Walker: Removed because their token generation is unreliable and slow, need exp counters on Ezuri asap.
Avenger of Zendikar, Hornet Queen: Removed because mana cost too high for comboing out asap. Replaced with Deranged Hermit and Eyeless Watcher.
Shaman of Forgotten Ways: Need mana for added counterspells. Replaced with Bloom Tender
Evacuation, Ezuri's Predation, Curse of the Swine, Rapid Hybridization, and Pongify: Removed because mana costs too high/sorcery speed/don't hit indestructible creatures. Replaced with counterspells.
Nest Invader: Removed because it is too low impact without Ezuri. Better 2 mana creatures with more reusable mana acceleration.
Gyre Sage: Removed because it makes no mana without Ezuri
Elvish Mystic, Llanowar Elves, Plague Myr and Kiora's Follower: Removed because multicolored mana is more important for getting out Ezuri on turn 3. Switched out for Gemhide Sliver and Manaweft Sliver.
Yisan, the Wanderer Bard: Removed because it telegraphed the combo opponents. Killed before hitting two counters for Sage of Hours. Not enough high impact 1-mana drops in the deck for Yisan to be worth a slot.
Champion of Lambholt and Pathbreaker Ibex: Too slow to close out games (summoning sickness). Replaced with Overwhelming Stampede and Triumph of the Hordes.
Prime Speaker Zegana: Removed because it is not reliable card draw, requires a creature on the field before playing her. Replaced with Consecrated Sphinx.
Vedalken Orrery and Leyline of Anticipation: Removed because too low impact. Does not contribute to getting exp counters asap.
Seedborn Muse: Removed because the deck is creature focused. Without flash creatures, Seedborne muse is too low impact.
Magus of the Future: Removed because to unreliable to get . Too low impact for 5 mana.
Etched Oracle and Zameck Guildmage: Removed due to being too slow. In order to use card draw ability, Etched oracle/Zameck Guildmage and Ezuri need to both stay on the field for multiple turn cycles. Not reliable draw.
Aspect of Mongoose and Diplomatic Immunity: Removed for slowing down the combo nature of the deck. Replaced with more creatures.
Doubling Season, Primal Vigor, and Parallel Lives: Removed due to being win more cards. They do not add to Ezuri's exp counters, and the deck needs to combo out as soon as possible. Replaced with Sakashima the Impostor who can gain double the amount of experience counters, place double the counters on 1 creature or same counters on two creatures, and can protect herself.
Kaseto, Orochi Archmage: Leftover from the precon. Removed because the deck rarely kills through combat damage.
Academy Ruins and Buried Ruin: Removed because skullclamp became less of a focus in this deck as the amount of token producers decreased. Getting Ezuri out on turn 3 reliably with green and blue mana was more important.
Wood Elves, Farhaven Elf, and other creatures that ramp mana with CMC 3 or higher: Removed because the deck needs Ezuri out by turn 3 reliably, and any ramp creatures CMC 3 or high does ramp out Ezuri on turn 3.
Rampant Growth, Kodama's Reach, and various other ramp spells: Replaced with creature based ramp to also add experience counters on Ezuri.
