This is a deck idea I had as soon as I saw restoration angel. I've played since DKA, and have mainly played Zombie, and ever since blood artist I've been playing Pod in all of them. However as soon as I read how restoration angel worked I had to build a deck around it, and this is what I came up with.
Basic Combo's:Grave Crawler -> Pod -> Blood Artist (repeat repeat repeat)Geralf's Messenger -> Pod -> Restoration Angel -> Bounce Geralf's Messenger (removing +1/+1 counters) (repeat repeat repeat)
This deck can play fine w/o either of these combo's but just shines with them.
Just updating to let people know the reason I'm putting this on here is mainly for opinions on my land base, but am open to all suggestions, if theres anything you think I could do to make it better please let me know, I'd really love for this deck to improve and go places.
Also the lifestaff is really just in there because I had a foil one and it's won me a few games so why not. If you think its worthless and other cards would be better feel free to make a suggestion.
Do you usually have enough zombies on the field to recast Gravecrawler ? Or do you not start podding until you have two of them?
Considering the CMC of birthing pod, if I dont have enough zombies out by the time im podding to keep bringing Gravecrawler back i feel like something is either going wrong, or I should have mulled. also with 13 zombies there's a decent chance I'll have at least 2 down by turn 4.
