Introduction

A deck that is meant for fun and not to be taken as anything remotely competitive. And what better way to do that than using cards that you not only love, but can easily afford!

Strategy

The basic concept of this deck is to gain control over the game through destroying enemy monsters while powering up your own. This is then augmented further with the use of Endless Whispers and Mass Destruction cards to ensure that you turn the tide of battle in your favour.

Both Blood Seeker and Typhoid Rats are low mana costs creatures that will punish your opponents whenever they summon as they they take not only damage, but also facing up against death touch as early as with 1 mana cost.

Hitting 4 mana is the most crucial element for this deck. Desecration Demon and Vampire Nighthawk will be your main offensive forces. Vampire Nighthawk works very well as it is a difficult monster to block and fight against unless it is destroyed directly by spells.

By this time, you should also have enough mana to access Endless Whispers , Liliana of the Dark Realms, Crypt Ghast and Whip of Erebos. Whip of Erebos can allow you to stay on the offensive throughout the game as the combination of reviving death touch monsters is very powerful in combination with lifelink. Liliana of the Dark Realms is used to bolster your mana as much as possible to gain access to your signature cards while also increasing loyalty for the -X/X ability. Crypt Ghast will allow you to abuse high mana cost cards or multiple cards efficiently. Finally Endless Whispers is your key to combo the nature of your Mass Destruction to completely control the field of battle.

Massacre Wurm and Reiver Demon are the stars of this deck. Easily summoned with the support of Liliana of the Dark Realms, they are used in conjunction with Endless Whispers . Massacre Wurm combined with Blood Seeker would mean that any attempts of summoning monsters would be detrimental to their life points while Reiver Demon is used to destroy anything that Massacre Wurm cannot. This makes it especially useful against creature oriented decks. The fact that the enemy creatures can't be regenerated means that you will ensure that Endless Whispers will come into play.

Sign in Blood are useful spells that are used to gain as much holding as fast as possible, seeing as most cards only require 4 mana at most. Getting either Liliana of the Dark Realms, Endless Whisper, or Whip of Erebos will be the first step of ensuring your victory. The effects of the healthy penalty can also be mitigated with the use of Vampire Nighthawk or Whip of Erebos. Both Doom Blade and Hex are sorceries that are utilized to either eliminate early threats or large amount of creatures by mid game. In Garruk's Wake is used in order to eliminate enemy Planeswalker if they prove to be too difficult to take down when back up by other creatures, thus eliminating both at the same time.

Side deck

For the side decks it features cards that work well with Endless Whispers or help against non creature decks. Foul-Tongue Shriek is a low mana cost spell that will be devastating when used after accumulating enough forces and help ensure a swift win. Both Distress and Duress will try to take out key spells that will get in the way of you setting up. Finally Korlash, Heir to Blackblade can be used as a quick way to get swamps and damage in a few turns. Gray Merchant of Asphodel is used as with Endless Whispers and the resurrection ability of Whip of Erebos to keep your devotion as high as possible, acting as a stronger version of Foul-Tongue Shriek .

Possible cards to take into consideration

Some cards to take into consideration are Hero's Downfall, Phage the Untouchable, Far / Away , and Tragic Slip. Hero's Downfall is utilized when you have the need to destroy the enemy Planeswalker as fast as possible of if the enemy deck has a great emphasis on using them. Tragic Slip is useful when as a cheap way of destroying especially difficult enemies like Indestructible Gods. Geth's Verdict is a useful card when directly targeting the enemy creatures will instead have detrimental effects on you. Finally Phage the Untouchable is a combination utilized alongside Endless Whispers to guarantee your victory. Dread is a choice if you want to have more defensive options and having Fear to strike enemies.
