Crash through really only helps the odd vexing devil that your opponent didn't choose damage for, your monstrosaur already has trample and the rest of your creatures have too low power to make trample matter. I'd take lightning bolts instead.

Thanks for the feedback, I was thinking of using Crash Through with Monastery Swiftspear but I guess it won't work as good as I imagine. I will try Magma Jet instead for the scry 2 effect.

I definitly agree on both and Skewer the Critics is on my wantlist already. About Goblin Guide ... the card is awesome, but way too expensive for me right now. It is indeed one of the best one drops ever. Thanks for the suggestions !

if you are building budget Spark Elemental is quite good, it only stays around for one turn but is still pretty good

also Ash Zealot is good right now, it hurts people if they play Snapcaster Mage and Faithless Looting

Does Ash Zealot work against a zombie deck (this would but nuts), or is it just countering sorcery/instant spells ? About Spark Elemental there is not much to say, this would fit perfectly in there. I'll probably remove the Monstrosaur at some point, to expensive, no fast enough. Great suggestion mate, and yeah this is supposed to be budget. I try to avoid any unecessary cost.

Ash Zealot will stop anything that is cast from the graveyard so it will not stop most zombies, but it stops Lingering Souls , and Faithless Looting which are two of the best cards in the format. and anyway, zombies aren't super powerful or common anyway

also not much to say about it but Lathnu Hellion is really good

If I ask this about Ash Zealot , it's because my mate and most regular opponent is building a mono black zombie/discard deck. And I'd like to have some answers to it, already got Tormod's Crypt ... I know it is supposed to be a terrible match up for him, don't worry.

Lathnu Hellion looks good, but I'd like to keep Ahn-Crop Crasher for its ability to tap defenders. Not quite sure about that, I need to playtest this.
