Mizzium Mortars instead of Thunderbolt and Harvest Pyre or Burn at the Stake instead of Fling since you said you're having creature problems.

Mizzium Mortars is a good suggestion. I'll play test with Harvest Pyre and see how it goes. Thanks for the advice!

No problem! Are you playtesting harvest pyre in place of fling? I just feel that those three are dead cards if you don't have a creature out, and even then, you lose a creature to either kill a creature or hit the opponent, which is not a great scenario. Although, I do have to admit, Fling ing your Vexing Devil in response to the sacrifice trigger to deal an additional 4 damage is hilarious! xD

Why would you want mortars? Searing Spear is a better option for a rdw. Having instant speed removal and flexibility to hit opponents out weighs an extra 1 pt of damage. And you should have won by the time you get to 6 land to cast it for overload.

@DarthTrevyn More dots, more dots, more dots, OK Stop Dots!

Brimstone Volley is a must have 4 of.

Brimstone Volley is kinda A situational type of card. I would need a creature a creature to die to be most effective. That's why I run two and then 2 Thunderous Wrath for the miracle

Brimstone volley works perfectly with vexing and yes you can fling him in response to them paying life. Personally i prefer cloudshifting him.

I'll keep do some heavy play testing and see how things work. I used to run 3x Brimstone Volley but dropped it down to add other spells
