This deck is a personal love of mine. Much like the premise of all commander decks centred around Athreos, God of Passage, this deck aims to utilize as much of the creature potential the deck can, whilst providing you with pure advantage and siphoning your opponents resources every step of the way.

One of the my favourite combos in the deck is Xiahou Dun, the One-Eyed + Goryo's Vengeance + Demonic Tutor, as by using Xiahou Dun's ability I can circumvent the exile requirement of Goryo's Vengeance, whilst tutoring for whatever cards I need in all situations, particularly ones on which I rely in those clutch situations.

Whilst not as heavily leaned toward the devotion aspect as this deck could be, that serves to be a secondary purpose for Athreos in this deck, as whilst he is a powerful creature once he becomes 'active', his unique triggered ability provides so much advantage.

The secondary and somewhat underlying theme which is utilized by Mesa Enchantress also provides me with quite a purposeful and sufficient advantage as well.

I welcome any and all feedback regarding this deck, as it is one which I am continually trying to enhance, refine and perfect. In a couple of formats one or two of these cards are forbidden (Dark Depths being people's exhibit #1 here.)
