Made some major changes to the list that I will detail in an update, but my former description irrelevant. Quick summary: the deck is now on less of an all-in reanimation plan and can now play a more conventional midrange game but still has the ability to go over the heads of traditional midrange decks with ease. Soul of Theros comes in to replace See the Unwritten and the two copies of Endless Obedience are gone. I'm much more comfortable with Soul in my deck as at the same cost as See the Unwritten, I'm guaranteed to land a threat. I find myself whiffing on powerful creatures with See far too often, frequently ending up with at best a 6 mana Courser of Kruphix and some extra lands in the yard.

3-1-1 in Swiss, lost in Quarterfinals

For this weekend I decided to try something a little new. I cut Sylvan Caryatids from the deck and added 2 lands. Having 26 lands plus Satyr Wayfinders allows me to run the same high cost spells, but not having Caryatids allows me to maindeck sweepers, i.e. the 2 End Hostilities and Ugin. End Hostilities was strong and Ugin overperformed every time I cast it. Tasigur was also incredibly strong in every matchup.

I wasn't particularly impressed by Doomwake Giant or Utter End. Doomwake Giant is still a strong card, but the decks it's most powerful against are not as popular. For this reason, I'm moving it to the sideboard. I've also cut Utter End entirely. I've moved 2 Thoughtseize to the maindeck in order to improve game 1 against the control decks, and have gone up to 2 Hornet Queen. I was on 3 Queen for a long time but moved down to 1 for this week as a reaction to the popularity of maindeck Bile Blight. This, however, weakened my deck to Stormbreath Dragon. I think 2 is a fine number as in most games I'm seeing over 2/3 of the deck.
