I wanted to build a fun Pirate Tribal themed deck that is fast enough and hits hard enough to get under Teferi based control decks.
This thing is as straight forward of a beat down deck as you can get, while still having fun with Pirates!
This is what I was able to put together with the cards I have.
I find it runs very consistently one on one and has the potential and the firepower to go the distance in multiplayer settings.
Please up-vote of you like. New ideas are always welcome but this build is pretty set in stone.

Let’s break it down

(Edit) This deck is now a Pioneer deck and still kicks ass. It was a standard deck that saw a lot of play.
(Edit) I have made an MTG:A deck out of this and it is so good.

- Daring Buccaneer: This is a great first turn card as it gives you a 2/2 that swings turn 2.
- Rigging Runner: Drop on your second turn after attacking with your first turn DB. Now you have a 2/2 First Strike.
- Fanatical Firebrand: Because 1/1 haste is just good, and tap and sac for 1dmg!
- Dire Fleet Neckbreaker: His ability activates without him attacking.
- Captain's Hook: What’s a Pirate without his hook? +2/+0 and Menace is neat too.
- Fathom Fleet Captain: Menace Pirate that makes Menace Pirates. Yep, that is a thing.
- Captain Lannery Storm: The Finisher. Use 2 treasure and a bravado for a 10dmg swing.
- Walk the Plank: Kill your non-merfolk.(who plays merfolk any ways?)
- Dire Fleet Poisoner: Deathtouch to kill things. Also gives other pirates Deathtouch to kill things.
- Kitesail Freebooter: Harass the hand.
- Lightning Strike: LIGHTNING BOLT! LIGHTNING BOLT!! ZAP!!
- March of the Drowned: If your Pirates get killed, No Problem. Pay one get 2 Pirates back!
- Buccaneer's Bravado: If any 4/2 Pirate should go unblocked, turn that 4dmg into 10dmg. Two of those = 20dmg to the face.
- Fiery Cannonade: Good bye tokens or weenie aggro!
- Dreadbore: Good bye Planeswalkers!
- Smelt: Good bye artifacts!
- Vraska's Contempt: The answer to Scarab God/Hazoret/Giddion/Bolas/Pheonex or anything else that just won’t just stay dead and needs to go away now.
This turn 4 kill is actually very easy to get going even with some interaction.
Turn 1: Mtn > Daring Buccaneer
Turn 2: Smp > Swing 2dmg > Rigging Runner
Turn 3: Mtn > Captain Lannery Storm > Swing 6dmg and get a Treasure
Turn 4: Smp (if you have it) > Swing > Get a Treasure > Sac 2 Treasure for Buccaneer's Bravado on Captain Lannery Storm 14dmg > Win!
Best possible Turn 4: Smp > Dire Fleet Neckbreaker > Swing > Get a Treasure > Sac 2 Treasure for Buccaneer's Bravado on Captain Lannery Storm 22dmg > Win!
Lets talk about the long game and multiplayer settings.
You will still want to start off fast and pick an opponent to beat up on first using the method described in "Turn 4 Kill" above.
Start building your army with Fathom Fleet Captain and use March of the Drowned to keep him coming back when he gets killed.
Fathom Fleet Captain will eventuly get blocked and when he does use Dire Fleet Poisoner to kill all blockers.
Dire Fleet Neckbreaker makes all your 2/2 Menace Pirate Tokens you made 4/2 Menace Pirate Tokens.
Win big by sneaking a Buccaneer's Bravado in on a unblocked 4/2 pirate at the right time and hit with a massive 10dmg to the face.
Ruin Raider keeps you drawing cards and because your average CMC is 2 you won't take that big of a hit to your life total unless you hit a Neckbreaker or a Contempt.

Updates Add

Decided to play with this deck tonight and was not disappointed. I went 1-2 and made my opponents work for their wins.
Round 1: Mono-red - Standard Red Deck Wins build - I made him work for it all three games. Had him at less then 5 life in both games he won.
Round 2: Mono-Blue Tempo - Same deck we see everywhere - Game one I was able to take easily which surprised him, and then he sided in PRO-red creatures and that was the end.
Round 3 - Bye..... But that counts a win!.... Right?
