As it turns out, having Demonic Tutor as your commander isn't half bad, so I decided to put a few combos into a deck. For example:

Nim Deathmantle + Grave Titan/Myr Battlesphere + Ashnod's Altar = Infinite Tokens

Helm of Obedience + Leyline of the Void = Mill Opponents

Magus of the Coffers + Sword of the Paruns/Umbral Mantle + Exsanguinate/Torment of Hailfire = Infinite Drain

Haakon, Stromgald Scourge in graveyard + Basal Sliver + Skeletal Changeling + Bitter Ordeal = Infinite Mill

Necrotic Ooze + Triskelion and Phyrexian Devourer in graveyard = Infinite Damage

Necrotic Ooze + Shauku, Endbringer and Cinderhaze Wretch in graveyard = Exile All Creatures

Necrotic Ooze + Magus of the Coffers and Pili-Pala in graveyard = Infinite Mana

You can usually pull one of these off by turn 7 or so, even on (sort of) a budget
