Transfers from other decks —Aug. 16, 2017
Made a few changes lately due to breaking apart another deck. Some of those cards have found new homes including in here:
Decimator of the Provinces ---> Craterhoof Behemoth: Craterhoof is one of the cards taken from another deck. Decimator was ok but it's +2/+2 sometimes wasn't enough to finish off opponents. Plus sacrificing a creature for the Emerge cost would sometimes reduce the power I have on the table below what I needed. Craterhoof is an obvious upgrade here. Even with just 4-5 other creatures he gives a crazy power boost.
Cultivate ---> Nature's Lore: Like similar ramp changes I've made, I want most of my ramp to be 2 CMC or less to power Rashmi out a turn earlier. Cultivate and Kodama's Reach are great, but the deck doesn't really need that amount of fixing.
Kodama's Reach ---> Seedborn Muse: Another big upgrade from taking a card from another deck. Seedborn muse lets me keep mana up during each opponent's turn. Especially good if I have a flash enabler out.
Soul of the Harvest ---> Avenger of Zendikar: I've reduced the usage rate of Avenger in other decks so he no longer feels too boring to use here. Counterspells should be able to protect his plant army. Gonna test him out to see if he's an effective win con here.
Dissolve ---> Arcane Denial: Just a small counterspell change to increase the number of counters that only cost 2.
Reclaim ---> Blustersquall: The deck felt like it needed a little more tempo control to protect from alpha strikes. Gonna test this card out.
I love this deck and I think I'm gonna build something like this. The only question is: Cyclonic Rift?

I had Reclaim in there a long time ago. I don't remember why I took it out. I think I'll try putting it back in because I agree the deck could use a bit more graveyard recursion.
Verdurous Gearhulk is ok. I put it in there to have another beater that can close out games. I'm not 100% convinced he's impactful enough. I may trade him out for Soul of the Harvest again which is another beater that at least also draws cards. I like your idea of putting in another tutor though! Eldritch Evolution is a great card and there are enough creatures in the deck that it could be very effective.
