An alternate take on the traditional Ramunap Red strategy with a R/G sideboard.

Main Deck

The Main Deck runs like any other mono red deck (red deck wins), fast creatures, fast clock. Using as many Shock, Ramunap Ruins and Collective Defiance as possible to burn down the life total of the opponent while swinging in. Most of the deck is self explanatory and are played in the Red Deck Wins meta.

I opted for 4x Soul-Scar Mage and 2x Thorned Moloch because a R/G prowess sub-theme could be utilised with the addition of the pump spells in the sideboard, they also work well with the higher spell base in this deck.

Sideboard

• Abrade, Chandra's Defeat, Chandra, Torch of Defiance and Kari Zev's Expertise are all red deck win meta staples that I thought were also great in this sideboard.
• Shed Weakness and Blossoming Defense: They both act as pump spells and defensive spells for target removal and -1/-1 counters.
• Struggle / Survive is used to deal with the Glorybringer that the mirrors will always board in and other large creatures that may land before we finish off the opponent, an additional upside in Struggle / Survive is that Survive also deals with graveyard shenanigans.
• Rhonas the Indomitable is a 2G creature that synergises well with Hazoret the Fervent on the field and can also pump up other creatures to be activated. Having two or even just one god on the field is hard for a Glorybringer to deal with and is usually a faster clock than a Hour of Devastation .
• Bristling Hydra is just a good large body that can swing bigger than any mirror match ups can bar Glorybringer, the ability to pump and defend itself up means that a Blossoming Defense can be prioritised for other creatures.
