I never really had a plan with Ramos, The Dragon Engine, but I knew I wanted to build with him as soon as I saw him. I loved that his mana cost was colorless, the ability to cast him really easy since I didnt need to worry about specific colors, and the fact that he adds enough mana to cast Progenitus. But a strategy never really stuck out to me. At first I wanted to be able to ramp up to Progenitus, but I didn't really have a plan after that. Voltron is somewhat possible, due to the counters but there are much better Voltron commanders. Then charms came out. I still didn't think about building him as a Charms commander, but as I thought about it, Charms were a very different strategy in a deck and are super efficient for colors and cmc. Plus Charms themselves arent very expensive and since I wanted to kinda pause on building nice ~$300 decks (At time of writing), im able to budget it out since I have the land base from Scion and nearly all the non-budget cards from getting them over time.

As far as what the deck actually contains the idea was for a more casual deck, the use of most of the Charms through Ravnicas Guilds, Tarkirs Clans, and Alara's Shards. Creatures that generate tokens due to instant and sorcerys like Docent of Perfection  , Talrand, Sky Summoner, and Young Pyromancer. Spell recursion from Kess, Dissident Mage and Charmbreaker Devils. Counters for Ramos with Jugan, the Rising Star, Corpsejack Menace, and Forgotten Ancient. I have also Added Kozilek, Butcher of Truth due to Mill in our playgroup, card draw, Annihilator 4, and a 10 cmc card isnt that hard to cast in Commander.

I also purposely left out Doubling Season on purpose because the name alone would make me a huge target and it wasnt really needed, though I could always add it. But in its place I added some unique win cons and uses for that perfect 10. Win Cons such as Mayael's Aria or Door to Nothingness. and some flavorful uses like Progenitus, Time Stretch, Debt to the Deathless and Villainous Wealth (though its not exactly a win con).
