I disagree completely! Stab Wound is a great card to have in play for >3 toughness creatures. It reduces them to a much smaller threat, and >2 power creatures that wouldn't be killed by it become totally useless. I love that card and think it should go in.

I'm debating replacing Shrieking Affliction with Stab Wound . It definitely helped me out sometimes, but I needed more creatures

Shrieking Affliction is not as good in my opinion. It's not often that you're opponents will be jazz-hands-ing because of all of the answers that RTR introduced. It's good for a discard deck but it would stay there, I'd imagine.

Stab Wound , on the other hand, is much better given the prevalence of creatures in essentially every format.

The problem with Stab Wound is that once it's on a creature, all your opponent has to do is chump block with that creature to get rid of it. From my experience, it doesn't stay around long unless you're not attacking with creatures.

i have a rakdos build im working on you can check it out and maybe get some ideas card:Rakdos's Return i dont think really fits cuz its your only discard card your running i was gonna run a discard oriented rakdos myself then did a complete change for the better but if u want to go with Shrieking Affliction put in Drainpipe Vermin maybe Ravenous Rats Scroll of Griselbrand since they pitch a card and lose 3 life if you control a demon i think id steer away from zombies for rakdos

Haha, I realize I need blue. I just put in the captain today, and ran out of time (building in class, and the professor had us turn the computers off) so I didn't have time to switch out the land

Stab Wound is crap outside of limited. Tragic slip is significantly better.

I have your solution because I struggled through the same problem. The solution is Crippling Blight . Lower mana cost and helps your creatures hit.

I took him out. I felt like that the aggro alone is plenty. I might put him back in though. I'm debating what to take out.
