This is my current Standard deck, after being away from MTG for a few months. I like Black & Red so Rakdos fit me perfectly, however I didn't want a stereotypical All-In aggro deck that lost to sweepers or lost the race for board position.

The Mainboard has 11 1-drops that provide a threat to the opposition, while dropping turn 3 Geralf's Messenger or Vampire Nighthawks provide an excellent midgame. The Nighthawks are especially potent as they trade with both Thragtusks and Restoration Angels, which are two of the domineering forces in the metagame.

However, the win condition of this game is on the back of Guttersnipe. B/R isn't known for having a late game, but when I have 2 or even all 3 Guttersnipes on the board sitting there, and a hand full of burn, then I win quite easily.

Another reason why I trump most other similarly colored decks is because I draw better with both Sign in Blood and Underworld Connections. Loss of life isn't as bad because of Vampire Nighthawk, and the more cards you go through, the more likely you are to win in any case.

The Metagame is completely wide open, especially in my area, so it's pretty hard to sideboard when you don't know what you're up against. Generally, Dreadbore, Slaughter Games , and Underworld Connections, Duress are coming in for Control matchups, while Guttersnipe, Rakdos Charm , Auger Spree , and Rix Maadi Guildmage come in for mirror matches and aggro matchups.

Any suggestion is appreciated, especially for the sideboard. I also want to know if I can risk going down to 21 land and squeezing a final Geralf's Messenger or Rakdos Cackler in there. I made Top 4 in the last FNM (12/13) and my only losses came from being mana flooded, surprisingly enough. I only top out at 3 curve, so perhaps I could risk running 21 land. What do you guys think?
