Reaper from the Abyss
- Works with he sacrifices coming from
Desecration Demon
and also plays well with the fact that most of the creatures in this deck have a low toughness and are going to hopefully trade up late game and proc Reaper.
Ogre Slumlord
- makes trades more valuable because it will spawn 2 deathtouchers which will only spawn even more and proc Reaper even more.
Crypt Incursion - With death all over the place, this is the spell that keeps me up against an aggro deck long enough to play a slumlord or drop the all mighty reaper himself. It's also in the sideboard for reanimator decks.
Rix Maadi Guildmage - This card is in here mainly for his Give -1/-1 to blockers ability. i find it very useful at making sure my creatures trade up instead of down, because it will kill 1/1 or 2/1 blockers for only two mana, and it will bring down creatures such as thragtusk into
Rakdos Cackler
range.
