Kind of odd that you have large creatures then a few smaller ones. Wouldn't it be better to run a few cheap burn spells? Searing Spear would be good Arms Dealer ; maybe a Fling . I'd say net 6 mana for a 6/6 AND reducing all other creature spells down by atleast 3 mana is an amazing deal.

with so many high drops you have no way of making your opponent lose life in order to cast rakdos.

Many ways. You can hit through with some of your smaller guys, or Blood Artist is awesome.

without a sac outlet you can't guarantee that they will lose life, people wont block blood artist if they see a rakdos coming.... he swings for 0

I like the idea, but I agree with previous comments that you need a better sacrifice outlet and more cheap burn. Rakdos Charm might work nicely here (check out the last ability). Good looks though, I look forward to seeing how it will develop as more cards are released! +1

Rakdos Charm would be good, but all of it's other effects are pretty worthless. What do you think of something like -2 Rakdos Shred-Freak -1 Slitherhead +3 Bloodthrone Vampire +1 Blood Artist ?

Hey man. There are ways too get the feedback you wan't. but don't just go around posting the link to your deck on a bunch of random peoples decklists. I will check it out though: Jund Control RtR.

if only you could use Goblin Fireslinger ... Blazing Torch seems like a not bad idea, can get you there to cast rakdos.

or even Hellrider

Hellrider would definitely be good. It lets any of your tiny creatures activate Rakdos, Lord of Riots even against blockers. Then, if you have Blood Artist out, they have to decide between blocking with their bigger creatures and taking artist damage or taking combat damage. Win-win situation.

Btw, I really like this deck idea! +1 from me.

Oh yeah, and I don't think Nefarox is that good in this deck. maybe take him out for Hellrider ?

Wabbbit says... #14

I'm for sure putting Hellrider in. Do you think if I took out nefarox I would still have enough fatties?

Like the changes?

You should think about trying to squeeze in one or two Thundermaw Hellkite . Also Zealous Conscripts could be useful in this deck. One last thing is I think you have a little too many 6 drops. Other then that I like what you have going on in this deck.

What would I take out for thundermaw if I decided to put him in?

September 22, 2012 12:06 p.m.

azilumphilus says... #20

-1 Nefarox, +1 Hellrider, maybe take out some more of the big guys because if you don't get Rakdos your screwed

IR3D3MpTioN says... #21

I would take out Nefarox, Overlord of Grixis for Thundermaw Hellkite . I don't think that nefarox really fits to well in you deck.

Wabbbit says... #22

The whole point of this deck is to be a rakdos frite deck. Take out too many of the fatties and there goes my deck :/. By the way, I'm going to go -1 nefarox for a thundermaw.

So what happens if you don't get a Rakdos, Lord of Riots to resolve? I would put in some Heartless Summoning , just so you have more opportunities to get those fatties out of your hand.

Wabbbit says... #24

Counters are not really a thing anymore. Not with Mana Leak out. But I still might add 1 or 2 heartless. What would I take out?

TopShot515 says... #25

Vexing devil is fun. And for sure on the heartless summonings. Love the unleashed creatures! +1
