Sideboard

Maybeboard

This deck uses basic haste creatures to apply pressure early on. Usually wins by hitting with Spike Jesters while burning their creatures and going around them with Madcap Skills. Duress deals with removal and enchantments. The bigger creatures make it so the deck doesn't run out of gas if the hasted attackers aren't enough to finish off the opponent. Master of Cruelties is very unexpected so it probably won't get removed and it warps the whole game around it. Burn is mostly for creatures, but also works for reach.

Shocklands would fit perfectly, but then again, it is a budget deck.

Sideboard needs work, suggestions are welcome.

Went 1-3. I wouldn't say this deck is well positioned in the current meta. Too many undercosted fatties that can't be dealt with efficiently.

Game 1: Esper control 2-0: Quickly ran him over. Esper already having a fragile mana base, his deck seemed lacking land. Or maybe he got unlucky, who knows.

Game 2: White Weenie 0-2: I really didn't know what to do. All his creatures traded with mine and he had protection and Xathrid Necromancer. He seemed very skilled, but ultimately it was my fault.

Game 3: Jund Control 1-2: Guy didn't really know what he was doing and made a lot of mistakes, but his perfect topdecks were overwhelming. Also I got manascrewed. It was close though.

Game 4: Golgari Dredge 1-2: Third turn he had a 5/5, with a satyr to trade with the Spike Jester. Not much I could do. Far / Away was impressive.
