The deck is depending on dumping an Eldrazi into the yard and then either exhuming it back or Corpse Lungeing it at a creature you've previously enchanted with Ragged Veins, you turn a 3 mana creature removal spell, into a 3 mana 7 damage+ burn spell.

It's situational and it won't always work, but it's sweet when you get the combo to go off. The deck starts off with counter spells, which can be boarded out for creature removal if you end up having a lot of creatures to contend with.
