It's Artifact time! This time, with more Rakdos!

But seriously. I've never made an artifact deck before, and it's been something that's interested me for awhile. I've played against several artifact decks in my day, most of which were Blue, and all of which played the same Mycosynth Lattice/Darksteel Forge/Nevinyrral's Disk combo. This is something I did not want to do with this deck. I was mostly inspired by the Breya Commander preconstructed deck for 2016, Daretti Ingenious Iconoclast/ and Ichor/Mycosynth Wellsprings. That's kind of a long way of saying that I wanted to build a value, sacrifice, more value artifact deck.

Now, the last thing I wanted for this deck, and kind of as a challenge to myself was: Build it non-Blue. I know Blue has the best (if not some of the best) artifact synergy cards, but I just wanted to go a different way. Red was an obvious choice as they've gotten some great artifact cards in the last few years, and with the Kaladesh and Aether Revolt sets, Black was my next choice (also, just my favorite color to play in general). This led me directly to Rakdos, Lord of Riots as my commander, as he works incredibly well with artifact creatures, and helps me do what I want this deck to do.

Anyway, the deck isn't complete and this is maybe my second iteration but I really like how it plays so far. Enjoy!
