I really like this deck. Seems pretty solid, although I would probably add Fog Bank instead of Divine Reckoning for more stall, but that's just preference. Definite +1 from me

I appreciate it! I'm going to consider adding Fog Bank , but before I elaborate more on this deck, I'm gonna wait for the rotation! Thanks again(:

I would add Delver of Secrets  Flip instead of Serra Avenger .. Turn 1 delver, turn 2 dryad seems pretty sick!

well with rtr coming i think you should abuse green mulitcoloued spells. so you can still have it predominatley green so ease the mana base.

also Selesnya Charm

I know it doesn't give dryad +1/+1s but Rancor =yes. Trample makes dryad a real threat.

What would you exchange Rancor for?

I like the deck. It's basically a really interactive midrange deck.

The main problem I see with it is the boardwipe. You run more than a full playset worth of boardwipe in a creature-based deck. This leads to dead cards in hand.

The aggro decks which you will probably need to worry about are Tokens and Zombies. For Zombies, a good old Terminus is the best thing. You should keep two, and two sideboard. This clears up one slot. Detention Sphere wrecks tokens and is basically a better Oblivion Ring against Zombies. I suggest cutting the Supreme Verdicts and putting in three Detention Spheres, or two and the last Oblivion Ring.

The last suggestion I have is to add Restoration Angel s. You're already running three Cloudshift s. It's just a really good creature, especially with your enters the battlefield effects. Not much else to say.

If you have time, check out my RUG deck, Flashwoof. Thanks.

Drop 1x dungeon geists for 1x geist of saint traft. also the oblivion rings should be detention spheres to benefit dryad. With the new shocklands your mana base will be fine. Also cloudshift is really bad because who would want that + quirion dryad? same goes for restoration angel. turn them into rancors or spectral flights

Maxread says... #18

-2 Cloudshift -1 Restoration Angel +3 Spectral Flight

As for adding another Geist of Saint Traft , I will if I obtain another; same goes with Detention Sphere .

I think one of the new best pair will be Restoration Angel and Lyev Skyknight ("The russian" for me and my friends). The versatility of Restoration Angel makes me thing that she is at least a 3-of in every deck. Because she can play aggro, bouncing the russian to let your creatures attack in peace, or defensively, saving someone from an evil spell. The miracle part doesn't convince me so much. I like a bant build more creature based, with the detain abilitie as a core and the Quirion Dryad smashing heads with the phantom monk. If you want to play more aggro, Terminus and Entreat the Angels should be gone IMO (same with card:Sphinx's Revelation, I'm not a big fan of 1-of). I hope my opinion helps you!

You do prove a good point, with my deck taking a more aggro approach. As for adding more Restoration Angel I do think it would be worthy even though its a dud with Quirion Dryad . Perhaps I will drop Entreat the Angels but lategame its proved its worth. Terminus and card:Sphinx's Revelation I'm pretty dead-set on keeping, but I do want to make more room for Restoration Angel .

I really like it. Something that might be good would be Rootborn Defenses to play in combo with Geist of Saint Traft . It would keep him going and you could populate the angle which I think would stick around after the turn is over. In addition it can be an anti board wiper. Like I said I really like it and not sure what you would want to drop if you were to add it. Good job!

want the dryad to get through? Artful Dodge :D

October 4, 2012 11:25 p.m.

Maxread says... #23

Haha, as interesting as a choice Artful Dodge is, I think I'll keep the board the same :P As for Rootborn Defenses I'm not sure if its worth playing in the mainboard.

Instead of Spectral Flight , I think I would rather go with Downpour or Dramatic Rescue for better board control.

October 7, 2012 3:37 p.m.

Maxread says... #25

@Vapor873 Ive actually played Downpour . in the maindeck but I find that its not as useful as a draw especially when I fell I control the board enough. Dramatic Rescue is an interesting card to use,but I would not mainboard it over Spectral Flight .
