quick infect
trample if it takes too long.
any constructive feedback is welcomecomments and suggestions as well.
let me know what you think of it.
oh and if you like the concept give it an upvote +1 please and thank you
just play tested again and got a turn 6 win with a 28/28 trample Glistener Elf
who doesn't think that is just awesome
I'll hook you up with some positive constructive feedback. I like the infect mechanic and I think infect can be a quick threat for your opponent, but I think you have too few creatures (I usually see control decks with about 12 creatures max where aggro decks need 20+. Is there a reasoning why you have Llanowar Elves ? I know they help you ramp up, but your curve ends at 4 and since Primal Bellow is based on land, you're better off with Rampant Growth for the mana boost. Trample is definitely the way to go for infect and I think Rancor would be a major addition to your deck. Wild Defiance is definitely helpful in this deck, but I don't think you need 4. Maybe you can get away with 2-3. For your Carrion Call question, yes I would remove it for more creatures. The problem I see with infect decks is they get chump blocked and stalled into a late game (again trample would help remedy this). If you want to stay on a low curve, you can try a couple Champion of Lambholt to get your infect guys through or even a Bellowing Tanglewurm for the same concept and a semi bomb. For more ramp, I would even consider Primeval Titan . Since infect might rotate out, I would shoot for some Overrun before it all goes away (I don't think they'll bring it back because there's a few new mechanical spoilers like scavenge, overload, and populate).
thank you soo much for the feedback. so i have taken out Carrion Call and added the Rancor and for a few more creatures i added Putrefax although its a little expensive for my mana curve. also reduced the number of Ring of Kalonia and Wild Defiance how do you think it plays now?
that link was awesome thank you . i hadnt thought of the exalted lands, i like that idea.think i will add in some Blight Mamba and Spellskite and the Cathedral of War . maybe take out Putrefax and a few lands.
Nice and fast! Did 2 play tests (against no opponent) and both were over by T5. As mentioned earlier, I'd love to see a Champion of Lambholt in here to get around chump blockers. I love/hate Cathedral of War ; I only run 1 in my exalted deck, which is great for early damage, but often at the expense of speed. I'd trim back maybe 2 Cathedrals for Forests instead, Primal Bellow will thank you.
you may be right ill edit and playtest it that way with fewer Cathedral of War and Inkmoth Nexus and add in a few Champion of Lambholt
Ummmm Primal Bellow isn't standard.....
If you like the 28/28 with trample you would probably like Craterhoof Behemoth . It worked well with Genesis Wave but it cycled out.
mmm i do like Craterhoof Behemoth i actually have a token gen deck with craterhoof for the kill. http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/you-said-how-many-tokens/
i forgot how to link decks
