My plan is to become the Monarch and stay the Monarch, allowing me to draw 2 cards per turn. To do this I have a lot of defensive strategies in the deck.

As the Monarch, the other jealous players will probably focus their attention towards me. I have many ways to make allies. The goal is to get the attention away from me and onto someone else while I quietly draw twice as many cards.

I want to be an inconspicuous ruler, which means laying low until the time is most opportune to strike. That's why many of my blockers are flyers, reachers, deathtouchers, etc. I will even deplete my own life, with card draw spells, to keep attention away from me.

While my squabbling enemies are weakening each other and my defenses are up, I will be busy plotting away, setting up my board with buffs through card draw. I will give my creatures haste, double strike, and trample in preparation for the big attack.

When the time is right and my remaining enemies (and allies) are on the brink of death, I will suddenly strike with big attackers that have been hiding in my hand up until then. They will all have buffs, thus dealing massive damage in one swing.

After that, I will be unstoppable.
