I am now running R/g Devotion again, only this time better. The deck should play like typical MRD with Xenagos, the Reveler accelerating the midgame. Exploding in the midgame and the extra damage from eidolon of the great revels should get those few extra points of damage I was having trouble with before. I'm most excited about the ways to gain gain card advantage through the green cards.

is one of the best cards in Standard. Loves tearing control decks up. Grade A finisher.

Burn spell stapled to a 4/2 body. Solid finisher.

Helps push damage through in attrition match ups. Fairly easy to turn into a 6/5 beater.

This guy maneuvers creature match ups like a champ. Attacking through larger creatures and terrorizes aggro decks. 3 devotion!

Attack for 2 on turn 2 with first strike. Awesome 2 drop.

2 drop that tacks on additional damage for free. Can shave a turn off the game.

Can provide free plays and mana fixing. Great for gaining tempo.

is solid early removal that can also be used as a sweeper. Easy to overload with Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and Xenagos, the Reveler.

+1 accelerates the deck allowing us to dump creatures and hopefully damage onto the board. 0 supplies us with hastey 2/2's to overwhelm or reestablish the board. -6 should be GG with a high amount of haste and Fanatics in the deck.

2 Devotion and turns extra lands into beaters. Haste is awesome.

Copying a Stormbreath Dragon or Fanatic of Mogis is ideal. Can also be used with ramp to make a whole army. Free spell netting a 2/2 with haste and 2 devotion for a turn if chained off BTE targeting BTE.

Helps us keep our hand full of gas against control. Feels weird to sideboard him.

Busts an enchantment and keeps the damage flowing.

Finisher/Removal/Value. Can be scary with ramp.

Stronger and faster removal for pesky permanents than Mortars.

Nothing worse than an opponent who gains life.

Helps push past and go under midrange decks.
