After much much too long playtesting and trying it out, I think I've brewed a dimir deck full of sadistic nonsense for under $500. If you like drawing a million cards, locking your opponents out, and winning in long convoluted ways, this is the deck for you.

There are a few key things: This deck has exclusively basics because I wanted to run back to basics, so to accommodate I made sure my devotion was simple, outside of necropotence, and that there was an absurd amount of ramp/draw to get around anything complicated. To step things up, swap in a regular land package, but I don't quite think it's necessary unless you're playing in a super duper cutthroat group. Next, there are a variety of wincons that you can tutor up in a bunch of cheap ways, but the main ones are Mindcrank + Duskmantle Guildmage, reanimating an early Jin-Gitaxias, as well as good ol' fashioned Consuming Aberration destroying people in a ruthless fashion. Try to save your counterspells for when you decide to try and combo off, rather than trading 1v1, and make sure you mulligan down to a playable hand whenever you can. Tiagam is spot removal, and my meta plays almost no creatures so the stax tends to be sufficient, but you can always swapfor Damnation, Massacre Wurm, and No Mercy, though that will fudge your curve right up.

Yawgmoth's Will is a key card in this deck because it runs a lot of wheels and Tiagam can help you dump an absurd amount of cards in there with a staxlock. You could make this a storm deck or a doomsday deck pretty easily, but I like it's current incarnation because it's stylish; either you win spectacularly or you lose spectacularly. If you have the budget, a Lion's Eye Diamond and Grim Monolith will help you significantly. If you want to go a little jankier, you can run Fraying Sanity and Sphinx's Tutelage to deck people with the nonstop mill train, or Traumatize and Mesmeric Orb with Necrogen Mists to dump a bunch of cards into your yard until you can pull off Dread Return with Ichorid and Bloodghast for Jin-Gitaxias.
