Sideboard

Artifact (1)

Creature (2)

An explosive and versatile deck built around Grave Strength , recursion, and many small synergies.

The main game plan:

Sideboard:

Mainboard, the goal was to keep the creature count high. In the sideboard, 4 Thoughtseizes and a suite of removal allow the deck to shift into a more conventional black archetype. The specifics are subject to change: in particular, Dark Betrayal and/or Self-Inflicted Wound might be needed to kill Anafenza, the Foremost, whose second ability hoses the deck.

Suggestions

Updates Add

+3 Rakshasa Deathdealer

-1 Merciless Executioner -2 Ruthless Ripper

The deck needed a little aggression, and Ruth just wasn't cutting it. Executioner is a little clunky too, often trading for a token or a mana dork. Deathdealer's a threat early and late, and regeneration makes it a good target for Grave Strength.
