Been running a Temur Battle Rage//Titan's Strength//Monastery Swiftspear//Seeker of the Way deck since Fate Reforged. It's... ok. A lot of fun, but there are a lot of spells ( Atarka's Command, Kolaghan's Command, Crackling Doom) that are either expensive to pick up a play set of, or are expensive to go three colors with. So I splish-splashed with Boros for awhile. First I went the heroic route, using Gods Willing instead of Feat of Resistance so that I could drop a Monastery Swiftspear turn two or a Seeker of the Way turn three with protection. They were joined by Favored Hoplite and the other two or three one-drop heroic units, and the deck worked great as long as the opponent tried killing my guys. If they didn't, and I only had protection spells in hand, well, it's always funny to see my opponent realize that if they leave my guys alone they aren't all that threatening. Funny from a stepped-back perspective. Going into modern the heroics weren't going to work. Heroic couldn't beat Abzan, and it sure wasn't going to beat modern decks.

Tried using Myth Realized. Didn't have the Wrath of Gods for that route.

Then I went artifacts. That deck was a lot of fun to run. You can look at it here: Prowess Core "A" I would trigger turn two prowess with Flayer Husk, get a 2/2 flier out of Glinthawk Idol, then burn my opponent's face with a Shrapnel Blast. Not enough Pyrite Spellbomb or 'hawk Idols in my personal inventory, and I still needed/wanted wraths. And maybe a Scuttling Doom Engine or Batterskull.

Last, I went with goblins. I picked up the three Goblin Piledrivers that I needed to make the deck as Oath of the Gatewatch just dropped a new Bushwhacker on my lap. That card's good, just.... Non-goblins get in the way of a goblin plan, and eight non-goblins makes for a strange brew. The best part of having the prowess core is that I can run pyroclasm and watch my units walk through the flames.

Except the deck still loses to Junk. And to land destruction. And to affinity.

The core cards of battle rage, titan's strength, swiftspear, and seeker are nice, however I just spotted an Izzet deck that uses the flying two-drop prowess unit and that deck is sweet.
