Maybeboard

Introduction

This is my upgraded of the Prossh, Skyraider of Kher precon deck. I decided to go with a heavy Aristocrats and token theme, with a touch or recursion as well. I am running Food Chain for the combo, but no tutors; the combo win is not the focus of this build, but is a win condition. As the deck title insinuates, I'm looking for value in synergy here, whether it's when tokens come into play or when they leave play.

To that end, I want to generate value off of tokens through various sacrifice outlets and an Aristocrats package. The Aristocrats package can help dwindle life totals around the table, and Prossh can come out and swoop in to finish someone off. It's not difficult to get a Voltron win with this deck, either, with the sheer amount of tokens that I can have on the board to sacrifice to Prossh.

So my first order of business in this deck is making tokens.

Token Generation

I've got a lot of token generation in this deck, and the bulk of it comes through creatures. I'm running a package of recursion cards that will allow me to get token generating creatures back to do it again. One can never have too much fodder for the Aristocrat theme.

I've also included a few token doublers, but you'll see that there are two very noticeable exclusions: Parallel Lives and Doubling Season. I'd love to have them, but they are just a tad to pricey to go after right now, and I think the deck does just fine without them.

Now that I've hopefully populated the board with some token fodder, I need to get the death triggers going with the Aristocrats.

The Aristocrats

The Aristocrats package is the nuts and bolts of the deck, where the value comes from when tokens die. Lots of life drainers, and some other death triggers to help control the board.

Now, in order to get the death triggers going and getting synergy in the deck, I need sacrifice outlets.

Sacrifice Outlets

Jund does not lack for available sacrifice outlets. I've got creatures that I can pump through sacrifice, some that I can draw cards with, some that do recursion, all of which provide value.

My overall plan in playing this deck is to get set up with some tokens, and then use the sac outlets to gain value from the Aristocrats, and drain the table out over time. I'll apply some gradual pressure while still letting everyone play their games, just under a clock. If someone gets overly rambunctious and indicates they'd like to take me out, or something happens to put more pressure on my, then I'll throw out Prossh and get a bit more aggressive. Otherwise, I just want to sit back, relax, and enjoy the game!

Thoughts and upvotes are always welcome.

Updates Add

This is my attempt at upgrading the original Prossh, Skyraider of Kher precon. The list is what I want the final product to look like, but I'm still short a few of those cards yet. They are on the to-order list, and I will get them soon. I'm only a handful of cards short, though, and the deck is running so much better now. I hope to finish it out soon.
