Sideboard

Prophet of Kruphix looks like a fun card and already has seen a little Standard play. This is my attempt to build around her.

It's basically a Gx midrange deck, a little bit like the GR Monsters archetype that was a top deck in Standard before BNG. However, rather than adding red for planeswalkers and dragons, I'm using Zegana to draw cards, and the Prophet to cast stuff on my opponent's turn. If I manage to pass the turn with the Prophet in play, I should hopefully be able to drop a fatty on each of my and my opponent's turns going forward. Blue also gives me Cyclonic Rift and counterspells to stall and/or punch attackers through.

In playtesting, it actually did very well against GR Monsters. They can build up their board all they want, but if I live long enough to overload Cyclonic Rift, they're in trouble. It had big problems with other decks, though. Thoughtseize is very bad for me. Supreme Verdict is very bad for me. A weenie rush is very bad for me. I haven't played it since I added the Coursers of Kruphix, and I've made a few other minor changes too, but still, I can be realistic about this.
