My last EDH deck, Big mean bird! suffered in actual gameplay for a variety of reasons, mostly stemming from the fact that it was my first ever EDH deck. After several months of playing and refining that deck, I decided that enough was enough. Armed with the knowledge I had gained from creating Drag you to Hellbent, I decided to completely redo the deck.

How to Play

The deck is essentially Azorius Weenie. Since there aren't actually that many bird token generators in this game, I supplanted them with a variety of low cost birds, some of which are actually REALLY good, such as Impaler Shrike, Judge's Familiar, and Nimble Obstructionist.

Spend the first few turns putting your flock together however you can. Token generators such as Migratory Route really help here. Draw cards off of Bident of Thassa, Deep Analysis, Thieving Magpie, Crookclaw Elder , or Impaler Shrike. Use the pump spells included in the deck to beef up your bird friends, and once you hit at least seven mana, or if you get Aven Mimeomancer on the board, cast Kangee. The more mana you have before he hits the board, the better.

Put as many feather counters onto Kangee as you can and keep swinging until your foes are dead.
