Teetering on cEDH —Sept. 9, 2019
I have made many changes, but here are the most relevent ones:
Hey rob_shifflett, I've been looking for a spot to add Stonecloaker , but my focus has been more on consistency and combos rather than disruption with my flicker creatures. I do really like Mirri's Guile because I do shuffle a lot. Normally I'd add top instead, but I've already committed to using Stony Silence .
Also, slasherturtle I'll send you the code for it.

This really needs Cream of the Crop . Also, how about Sylvan Awakening as a juicy, non-comboy finisher?

Hey seshiro_of_the_orochi, both of those cards are really interesting. Cream of the Crop seems okay, but most of my creatures have 1 power and I wouldn't be able to send the card to the bottom. Sylvan Awakening is a really spicy card because I easily get out 20+ lands in a game. Do you have any suggestions for me to cut for it?

It's a tough decision, but from looking at your list, Uncage the Menagerie doesn't seem too great.

Hey Goretast. Have you seen the new Oketra? Wow!! That one is definitely is going into my list ^_^'
3WW Legendary Creature - Zombie God Double Strike
Whenever you cast a creature spell, create a 4/4 Zombie Warrior token with vigilance.
When God-Eternal Oketra dies or is put into exile from the battlefield, you may put it into its owner's library third from the top.

Oh wow, God-Eternal Oketra looks amazing for this deck (and of course yours). I will definitely find a spot for it. Puts Rampaging Baloths to shame with our cast combos. Thanks for the suggestion!

Honestly, Oketra isn't even the coolest card for this deck from War of the Spark IMO. Yes it is great, but Vivien, Champion of the Wilds giving flash, card advantage, and a minor buff for lolz speaks to me more than some 4/4s in a god-shaped can.

Hey SynergyBuild, happy to see some familiar names. Vivien, Champion of the Wilds is pretty great aswell. I'm really bad at keeping up with new sets, so this is exciting. She seems like a great addition to the deck. That -2 is really strong in a creature heavy deck like this and flash is a big plus. Thanks!

Hey Beebles, good question. It's a liability in my meta. Aluren and Animar, Soul of Elements gets gross too fast for me because they run similar flicker effect creatures. I've thought about trying it again now that I've ramped up the deck quite a bit. I'll try it again when I play next.
April 28, 2019 2:56 p.m.
That’s a clear reason. Does Animar run ways to win at instant speed though? I usually only cast aluren if I can win that turn, so as long as it does not win my opponents the game, the value they receive from doesn’t matter. If in doubt you can also wait casting it until you can get Grand Abolisher or a similar effect.

Animar runs lots of infinite combos that would become instant speed with the animar discount and aluren. I'll give it a try and see what happens.

Goretast Animar doesn't make their CMC any less, so it won't make a 4 mana card able to be cast with Aluren.
April 30, 2019 10:11 a.m.
Ah, I did not know that. I guess the only issue that would occur is if they can flicker off minions in response on my turn, but overall we can pull off our combos much more efficiently. I will find a spot for it!

Smothering Tithe I personally feel is a must have in any green deck.

darklord1135 Yes all mono-green lists want to run a white card.

You should check out my Karametra deck for a different type of deck. Mine is based on enchantments, and I wouldn't have thought of this version of Karametra! Nice build!

I go for Mirror Entity and Priest of Titania, since a wide option can go tall or generate mana. Also what is your opinion on Wild Pair.

What could I play in place of Gaea's Cradle and could I just run another basic until I can get a Savannah?
August 21, 2019 4:04 p.m.
Hey GrandZamboa, I'm trying to find a spot for Mirror Entity because it's simply a good card for the deck for infinite mana or a big swing. I am also not too sold on Wild Pair because there aren't too many targets if I were to blink in and out Whitemane Lion / Kor Skyfisher .
@OptimalGreen, I suggest running Growing Rites of Itlimoc Flip for a Cradle effect that takes very little effort to get. You can also substitute a basic for Savannah. If you have any other cards you are looking to substitute because of cost, you can check the "On a Budget?" section of the primer for some suggestions.

Would it be wise to run on 33 lands though if I replace Cradle with Growing Rites? I know there's a lot of mana dorks and a lot of green decks can get away with playing less lands because of it I'm just always worried when I go under 34 lands. Also on the Savannah front I actually found a "damaged" copy that's more HP today so all good on that front. Only other thing reserved list I don't exactly have at the moment is Survival of the Fittest but that has an easy replacement with Fauna Shaman. Thanks for the reply!

Stonecloaker just does not get enough credit.
Mirri's Guile and Sensei's Divining Top since you can shuffle pretty regularly with Kara on board.
Gaddock Teeg ?
Great job.. +1
