Have you considered Clan Defiance? Even just 1 would usually get caught by your BIG draws and could greatly aid you against control.
Actually scratch the Clan Defiance a Conjurer's Closet could prove hilarious in here, huntmaster, zegana, hellkite, tusk, all have funny etb's lol.
Predator Ooze doesn't seem worth it in my opinion, but I don't know what to replace it with
Funny enough bababad, I did have clan defiance in it. It fit in some match ups. Its one of those cards that its like well this is a good card if its in this situation. I like to think that I would run cards that would be good in just about every situation. To me it is more of a sideboard card.
I concur with the comments regarding Predator Ooze. I feel like your deck doesn't really know how it wants to win. Some cards are tailored towards generating CA, some cards are tailored towards explosiveness, and you also have a pretty significant ramp package. Maybe try to trim it down a bit to have a more singular focus?
Check my 4colour build out; I believe we pretty much started at the same place yet diverged as to how we wanted to implement Zegana into our decks. :)
Depends on what you want to do, obviously. You could put in more control in the form of Snapcaster Mage, Think Twice, Jace, Architect of Thought and Syncopate, or you could go the Master Biomancer route and maybe some Mizzium Mortars. Depends on what you want the deck to be better against.
Deadbridge Goliath is always nice
There's always Boros Reckoner if you are willing to splurge. Besides him your best bet would probably be Devil's Play because it has flashback. Sneaking in an x cast when they tap out (or mill it into the graveyard) saves games.
RB:
Deadbridge Goliath is awesome! most people overlook him but at a turn 3 5/5 you can't beat it. Searing Spear, Abrupt Decay and most other 2 cmc removal fall to the wayside of it. Not to mention he's great for Prime Speaker Zegana's ETB trigger, and plus he can be scavenged onto a mana dork for huge profit
I was thinking 2 of him and maybe 2 x Triumph of Ferocity since you SHOULD have the bigger creature on board with this deck
maybe you should try Strangleroot Geist. he is a great blocker early on since you have all big creatures
The problem with that teambob is it's GG and won't get played consistently early in a 3 color deck.
Izzet Staticaster + Nightshade Peddler . Maybe make it a R/U/G pinger, throw in some fodder and toss it towards Skirsdag Cultist and mix in Hellrider . But, going "big-baddies" isn't so bad either, I guess.
