Primal Banefire

Standard Mono-Red

KraKra21

Sideboard

Alright, so here is the janky deck that I came up with in 30 minutes: (NOTE: This deck is supposed to be rotation-proof, so keep that in mind when suggesting.)

So, the main purpose of the deck is to use Jaya Ballard to ramp your way up to Apex of Power, where you will (hopefully) hit a Banefire. You can then use a Primal Wellspring   or a Doublecast to copy the Banefire after pouring the rest of your mana into it, and with a Guttersnipe on the battlefield, that should be enough to kill of your opponent.

But this is not magical chirstmas land we are living here. We need a way to stop our opponent from killing us before we do this. So, I have put in someLightning Strike and Shock in the deck to kill off our opponenent's creatures, and also racking up damage with Guttersnipe.

We also need to be able to get enough mana to be able to cast Apex of Power in the first place. To do this, we need to draw our lands and ramp ourselves. As for drawing cards, we have Dismissive Pyromancer and Tormenting Voice. Dismissive Pyromancer helps us filter our deck and gets rid of a creature in an emergency, and Tormenting Voice can enable us to draw more cards than we would normally be able to. As for ramp, since we are in mono-red we have very limited options for ramp. So we are running Jaya Ballard. The 3 red mana isn't a concern since we are mono colored, and all of her abilities are relevant. Her first +1 ramps us, since that is what we wanted in the first place, her second +1 helps us filter our deck more, and her ultimate allows us to cast our removal spells from our graveyard, getting rid of more creatures or burning down our opponent's life total.

Finally, we have some finishing touches to the mainboard. primal amulet reduces the cost of our removal spells, and once it transforms, can copy our Banefire to deal a lot more damage. Viashino Pyromancer can burn our opponent in the early game and start attacking, deal the last couple points of damage we need in the late game, or serve as a chump-blocker midgame. Finally, we have Doublecast, which is basically our 5th and 6th Primal Wellspring  .

Now to talk about the sideboard. We have some more removal spells, a Shock and some Wizard's Lightning, since we have some wizards in the deck, and even more after sideboard. We have another Apex of Power if we can ramp ourselves earlier and need to draw this more quickly, we have more Doublecasts to copy our removal spells or Banefire, Smelt, to get rid of pesky artifacts, and finally some more Viashino Pyromancers and Ghitu Lavarunners to turn our deck into a more aggressive deck post-board.
