With Gishath top deck manipulation looks pretty good, so cards like Sensei's Divining Top and Mirri's Guile would fit the bill, your mana curve is also really high because dinosaurs cost a million, so Exploration, Burgeoning, and Mana Vault do work.

Thanks MonoBlackCoffee! I really like the sound of Sensei's Divining Top and Mirri's Guile. I am somewhat worried about adding more ramp currently because I am not sure if I will be hitting enough land every turn to justify the enchantments quite yet. Once I have had enough time to playtest and get the land base to a better amount I will definitely come back to add those in.

Congregation at Dawn is nice before damage with Gishath. I think it can be very very effective (or just funny)

Cream of the Crop and Sylvan Library are nice to know the top.

If you want to cheat crea in play : Hunting Grounds, Lurking Predators, Quicksilver Amulet, See the Unwritten, Selvala's Stampede

Thanks Kizder! I have already been considering Congregation at Dawn and plan on adding it soon. As for Cream of the Crop and Sylvan Library, hopefully, I will be hitting with Gishath, Sun's Avatar unblocked through Rogue's Passage so topdeck manipulation shouldn't be the biggest of problems. And for the creature cheat cards, I have personally found that they are not the most fun to play so I have opted out for those but if I ever decide to make this deck more competitive those will be the first thing I add.

So Sensei's Divining Top and Mirri's Guile sound good but reorganizing the top three cards isn't that great. You really want to either put dinos on top of your library or take non dinos off of the top (put on to bottom).

Grotag Thrasher, Cliffrunner Behemoth, Pygmy Pyrosaur and Vagrant Plowbeasts have not been erratad to be dinosaurs

NathanNati0n says... #7

nintendo917 you are right! But they haven't errated anything yet either, currently the only true Dinosaur is Old Fogey.

Thanks F3A5t! You're right, I also realized this a few days ago so I decided to take them out. I thinking about adding Sylvan Tutor, Congregation at Dawn, and a bunch of artifacts that enable scrying. Can you think of any? So far all I can think of are the scry dual lands, Crystal Ball, Darksteel Pendant, Lifecrafter's Bestiary, and Seer's Lantern.

Not much else but Brain in a Jar - bad here. Sunset Pyramid might not be too bad but slow. Witches' Eye - slow and buts a creature out of attacking... Naya isn't much for mass top deck manipulation.

F3A5t, Sunset Pyramid might work but I'll want to do some more testing first.

Maybe Strionic Resonator to copy your commander's triggered ability? Cool deck! +1

September 12, 2017 5:26 p.m.

NathanNati0n says... #15

Thanks for the idea punkrawkmonkey but I don't think Strionic Resonator is the right fit in this deck as I would be revealing the same cards, maybe 2 or 3 new ones if I'm lucky and the probability just goes down with blockers. A better use for the resonator would be with the Enrage ability triggers and while there are a lot of those in this deck, that is not the focus.

So things I have found that might help recently.

Samut, the Tested - All of her abilities are good for dinos. +1 for double strike -2 to activate enrage and -7 to put some fatties on the field. Elemental Bond I fell like this card is better than Vanquisher's Banner, 2 less cmc and still draws on most dinos. Somberwald Sage for that fatty ramp. Urza's Filter discounts most of the dinos and other things as well. Krosan Drover helps bring the big bads down to a reasonable mana cost.

Thanks F3A5t! I really like the sound of Samut, the Tested, Elemental Bond, and Somberwald Sage. I am going to try both Elemental Bond and Vanquisher's Banner just so I can hopefully get a little more draw power. I am not a huge fan of Urza's Filter but I cannot yet give a logical reason as to why; best I can give is that I'm just not feeling it. I am going to add Krosan Drover to the maybe board to think about.

Hello there! Got some ideas for you. First off I feel Like if you want to maximize your Gishath triggers you want to max out on dinos. Like 40-45 dinos, 45-50 mana sources, 10-20 other spells seems right for a dedicated tribal ramp deck. If you need more dinos after Ixilan is all known don't be afraid to include Mirror Entity, Taurean Mauler and Chameleon Colossus.

I would cut things that rearrange the top few cards. Gishath can look at the top 7 cards anyways unless you can rearrange more cards than that it seems pointless.

For ramp spells I would focus on ways that you can put lands right into play as opposed to Mana rocks or Mana dorks which can die. I feel like a deck like this that wins by committing to the board should avoid doing that with everything because you're already weak to board wipes. I'm less a fan of a card that reduces the cost of casting a dinosaur then just a good Explosive Vegetation effect which ramps everything. Anyways how many times are you going to cast more than one in a turn? Except sol ring that goes in everything, right?

As far as the 10 to 20 other kinds of cards I have some ideas...Pyrohemia is probably the best enrage enabler I know plus it's really good. Lightmine Field seems good for those reasons too if its important too trigger enrage and defend the board simultaneously. Rishkar's Expertise looks good and awesome. Asceticism, Heroic Intervention and Teferi's Protection to protect your stuff. Relentless Assault and Seize the Day kinds of cards combined with blanket haste from cards like Fires of Yavimaya could get epic. Garruk, Primal Hunter and Garruk Wildspeaker are both solid options. Marshal's Anthem is a great spell for a deck like this.

Honestly I have been thinking about building one of these decks myself because it looks fun. Happy gathering!

I know Antwaan33 and I'm excited! Changes will always be made accordingly. Thanks!

I do think you should put some of the newer listed dinosaurs in the deck tho.

NathanNati0n says... #22

Ok Antwaan33, any examples?

September 16, 2017 3:45 p.m.

Antwaan33 says... #23

Like some of the ones nintendo917 has on the list

September 16, 2017 9:33 p.m.

NathanNati0n says... #24

Thanks Antwaan33, I am currently running Pygmy Allosaurus as I believe that to be the best due to Swampwalk (but that is specific playgroup) and of course it is the original dinosaur. Putrid Raptor is black. Alpha Tyrranax is a vanilla creature and I want cards that impact the board state more at its cost. Deathmist Raptor does not synergize with this deck. Imperiosaur doesn't do much for the deck and will be pretty hard to cast. Tyrranax's ability doesn't do much for the deck, especially at its cmc. Dromosaur and Pangosaur are quite frankly terrible. Ridgetop Raptor, Ripscale Predator, and Shivan Raptor are decent but not standout spectacular. That leaves: Frenetic Raptor, which is fairly niche; Magmasaur, which fits quite well in my deck Enrage Enabled but not great in this list as here I am not focousing on Enrage that much; and Fungusaur, which I am currently looking for a place for.
