Description

My go to casual multiplayer deck. I also say that it is casual because I usually only play casually, but I have played it competitively with mild success (I took first in the one event I played competitively in).

Nature has devised many mechanisms for answering the challenges presented to it. Creatures solve these problems by using their instincts. Yisan, the Wanderer Bard allows me to use my instinct and find the right answer to almost any problem.

Ideal Path to Victory:

Play Yisan, the Wanderer Bard

Tutor

1: Quirion Ranger untaps yisan for more triggers

2: Scryb Ranger see 1

3: Azusa, Lost but Seeking replay land off 1+2

4: Temur Sabertooth bounce creatures just in case it's needed

5: Seedborn Muse allows me to untap everything on everyone's turn

6: pahbreaker ibex buffs the whole field when swinging and tramples

7: Avenger of Zendikar creates a small army

8: Craterhoof Behemoth takes advantage of my army *usually wins the game *

I am currently trying Yavimaya Hollow in place of reliquary tower to test it out

Updates

I have been in the process of pimping this deck for awhile now, but it can be difficult when a card doesn't have a foil (Thunderfoot Baloth) or the old art that does have a foil isn't as good as the new art (Sylvan Safekeeper).

To remedy this I wanted to try the alter route. I am rather untalented so I looked online for cool alters and stumbled on Revelen's Light on eBay. They have some great work there, and I asked them to do a commission for me. The cards came out great the alters above are the pictures of the actual extended border cards. If the art appeals to you or you want a different route to pimp your edh deck I would definitely suggest this. here is a link to their site where they do much more than border extensions http://www.zackcart.com/mtg-altered-art/

Thanks again Zack!
