What is this?

I honestly don't know right now. It's kind of a wrath control build with manlands being its main win condition.

How does it perform against other decks?

As far as I've play tested, it does alright. But, I made this in a very short period of time so it's still in the early alpha stage of development. Without a sideboard, I can't really tell how it would perform against the most popular decks in Modern. It has plenty of removal for creature heavy decks and mostly dodges other creature hate.
