This is the (mostly) finished version of my current Myr build, Behold the Flying Robot Army!
Myr is by far my favorite modern deck because it's so much fun to play! I went with blue as the color of choice with them for access to Blue Sun's Zenith.. I like Blue Sun's Zenith since it can draw me cards with my stupid amounts of mana I have access to, or if/when I go infinite with 2x Myr Galvanizer + Palladium Myr, or 2x Myr Galvanizer + 2x
Silver Myr
/ Plague Myr it just wins via "Hey opponent.... Draw your deck. :D".
I could've gone red instead with Fireball, but it's much less versatile, and this deck needs card draw. Speaking of card draw...
Temple Bell was added for some cheap, early card draw that can get better with unwinding clock, since this decks most prevalent weakness is running out of steam before you get the "factory" set up. Letting opponents draw cards is usually just better for you than for them.
Myr Turbine is the all star of our deck, allowing us to tutor our robots right out onto the battlefield. Usually gets all the Battlespheres, but has been known to get Galvanizers for an anthem effect, and/ or to finish out the combo.
Unwinding Clock is probably the most broken card in our deck, and with Shimmer Myr, we basically get to take a turn during our opponents turn too.
Myr Reservoir
is great for ramping, recursion, etcetera, and in combination with
Phyrexia's Core
, it allows us to loop our Myr Battlesphere every turn if necessary.
Semblance Anvil allows us to cast all our artifacts much cheaper (some free), and basically allows a "Robot-Storm" like effect.
I wish the other artifact lands were modern legal, but sadly affinity has ruined it for everyone xP
My biggest concern is Stony Silence, or similar effects, as they mostly ruin this deck. If anyone has a solution to it, please let me know!
