Sideboard

Anything on the ground is facing your early and plentiful deathtouch while you peck them to death with cheap flyers.

Floor equals Lava

This deck doesn't include any cards that will drop off when Khans of Tarkir arrives.

My whole idea here was to make the ground game unapproachable with lots of cheap deathtouch creatures, and then get out a bunch of flyers to build up lethal damage. But along the way I found some interesting synergy.

SirenShipwreck Singer works really well with this deck by forcing whatever creature you want to attack into your deathtouch. If they have a strong flyer, you probably have several to double or triple block with, or you could bestow a Baleful Eidolon onto a cheap flyer and trade one for one because you get to keep the eidolon. You can also bestow Herald of Torment on a deathtouch creature.

Then there's Quickling. I've found several good uses for her ability (that at first seems like a possible detriment) to flash onto the battlefield and return a creature to your hand. Maybe you have a Baleful Eidolon out there that you want to bestow on a flyer as mentioned before. Maybe you can use it as a reaction to a removal spell. Often times it is also very handy in getting Illusory Angel out by popping a one drop into your hand so you can play them both the next turn. Also if you need to stop a big attacker but you don't want to lose your creature, you can declare your blocker and then use Quickling to save it from any damage. You don't get any either unless it had trample. And of course it's always good to be able to flash out a creature as a kind of defensive combat trick, or waiting until the end of their turn to cast it so that it has pseudo haste.

If the game is going long, look out for your Xathrid Slyblade . Hexproof keeps it alive (and makes it another good target for bestow) until you want to use it to kill anything not in the air turn after turn without dying. That's what first strike and deathtouch do together. They can double block it and you still kill both. Put that together with Shipwreck Singer, and you have an engine to kill one of their creatures a turn without any cards in hand.

I think it's a fun deck, and it is very budget friendly as well.

Looking at what's spoiled for Khans of Tarkir so far, only the Polluted Delta dual land fetcher seems like it would enhance this deck.
