Way Down in the Hole

Your organization has recently received a new connect on product. This $h!t is of the finest quality and you know you've got to get your best dealer slangin'. The problem is that rival dealers trying to murder your crew, steal your product, and bust up your organization. On top of that, a man on the inside has informed you that the authorities might have a (Wire) up on your operation trying to gather intelligence to bring you down. To incentivize your dealer Grismold, the Dreadsower to move the product quickly you've offered to give him points on the package. Every vial (token) he can sell (kill) you offer him a +1/+1 counter. He's proposed getting some tester vials onto the street to drum up interest in the product and you've agreed.

On the day the product arrives, it has to be vialed up before it can be pushed onto the streets. The first thing you need to do is get enough product vialed up in the stash house to get your soldiers onto the street (get mana sources from your hand to the battlefield). As soon as your ready, send you're dealer to get his organization out and slangin'. Once's he on the corner slangin' that product, fools are going to want to take him down. You might consider getting him some fresh kicks (Lightning Greaves) to help him run when the heat comes, or tool him up with Darksteel Plate and Gift of Doom. You could also send out some soldiers like Leyline Prowler, Poison-Tip Archer, or Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder and his team to go blow-up you rivals corners before they come hit you. If you things get too hot on the street and there's a full out war on, send your girl Massacre Girl out. You know when she's chromed up that fools are about to get cadaverous. Remember though, them little hoppers ain't worth nothin' to you, so if you need to get some product out or move a pawn into harms way, you can Skullclamp or sacrifice them at Ashnod's Altar.

If a fool is putting your name on the street and needs to be dealt with, you can send a Doom Blade, or make an example out of him with Hero's Downfall.

Dealing with the authorities is another challenge entirely. Sometimes you need to grease some palms. You can send your more proper looking bodies like Blood Artist, Pawn of Ulamog, or Zulaport Cutthroat out to make sure everyone is on the take. You follow drugs, you get drug addicts and drug dealers. But you start to follow the money, and you don't know where the f*** it's gonna take you.

Move that product as fast as possible, and build your organization until you're ready to absorb some of the other gangs with Exsanguinate or wipe them out completely with Wound Reflection. If you've taken care of the pretenders and it's down to you and one other organization, strap up and Ram Through. On the other hand, you could just get rich and retire a winner with Revel in Riches.

The Wire is a great show. Watch it if you haven't. Just remember: If you come at the king, you best not miss.

Grismold has trample. Grismold can grow. The goal of this deck is to flood the board with tokens (product) and then play one of the consumers to grow Grismold. From there the beat-down can commence. If growing Grismold is not working well or your opponents have some way to deal with him, go wide and use the aristocrats to destroy them. The third win-con is to play Revel in Riches and try to get ten treasures. The deck is somewhat vulnerable to board wipes, but there are a few protection options available and The Ozolith. If Grismold manages to survive a wipe, or the Ozolith does, you're probably going to be in the drivers seat.
